Felt fires

Children amaze me with how they can make something out of nothing, they have the most incredible imaginations. Whilst they don’t need toys to play I still love those that encourage improvisation and role play whilst simultaneously looking so bloomin’ adorable! And the work of Rebecca Neafus is the type of stuff I’m talking about. She makes beautiful felt toys that would have your kids concocting a camping trip or playing at pirates. And yep they’re not needed but oh how they will be loved!

I’m even tempted to buy a log fire set myself so I can play at camping whilst my tent is packed away over the winter :)

you can’t beat a bit of felt to make into toys- I make hats and things (well, less so now because of the photography). These are really good fun to make, and the kids can help too:
