Carlota’s 1st Tea Party

Today I have a really pretty little party for you with lots of lovely ideas from Portugal’s Lima Limão. It’s Carlota’s 1st Tea Party!

“Carlota is a very famous baby in Portugal. She has a blog (Carlota’s blog) written by her mother who won the first prize of “mom blogger of 2012″. Carlota had her first birthday with a tea party. A party where the vintage chic had pink, white and touches of gold as a colour pallet and a tea table where doilies and a vintage rose were the centrepieces.
Lima Limão devoted itself to every last detail so that this party had all the necessary charm. Congratulations to Carlota for her 1st Tea Party!! Everything was made by Lima Limão.”

For lots more pictures of this and many other beautiful parties, check out Lima Limão. Thank you very much to Liliani and Paula for sharing these pictures!

Pink & tangerine nursery

If you’re not one for all that pastel nonsense (which actually isn’t nonsense at all I’m just trying to pitch this post to ya) then you’ll love the bright and bold choices in today’s nursery. Hot pink and tangerine aren’t often a colour combo you see a baby girl rocking in her nursery but that’s just what Baby Blake’s doing!

The reason her nursery’s so cool? I’m pretty sure it will have a lot to do with her stylish mum: Melody of Sweet & Saucy. And if you’ve never heard of Sweet & Saucy then you’re in for another treat after admiring these nursery pictures. Just click here :)

A night at the movies

This party is for a gorgeous girl on her 13th birthday but it could easily suit any age and the colours could be changed for a boy’s birthday. Because everybody loves movies right?! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate a birthday than to get a good group of friends round to snack on sweet treats and watch a film together… and I’m much older than 13! All the details to this fab party make it even more special though. There’s vintage props, beautiful seating and fab decor…

For more fantastic photos head over to this post onHostess with the Mostess. Although this party takes place outside there’s no reason for you not to recreate something similar in the comfort of your living room. Especially in the winter months! Make a few decorations, get the popcorn popped and throw cushions all over the floor for cosy seating. Then just put a film on! Perfect :)
