Sushi slippers

Today’s Adorable Attire post is focusing on stupidly cute baby booties! I am a huge fan of sushi. Which may seem odd as I’m a vegetarian and don’t eat fish… but cucumber and avocado rolls saturated in soy sauce are yummy enough for me :) I’m also a huge fan of quirky. And so Sushi Booties are something I’m probably going to have to put on my future baby’s feet!

They’re just so weird. But so cute at the same time. And the fortune cookie booties? Even better!

And I’m sure everybody with children will agree… they got the fortunes right :)

Coral & Tusk

Would you just look at that beautiful image above?! It belongs to a gorgeous company called Coral & Tusk. If you like exquisite embroidery and products that have an heirloom quality to them then you need to spend a good amount of time browsing this website!

There are adorable baby booties…

and onesies with my favourite featuring a panda and tiger high-five… very cool!

If you’re looking for adorable additions to the nursery then there are cushions, art pieces, mobiles and beautiful embroidered dolls that would look perfect propped on a shelf.

And then there’s my favourite piece. The prettiest memory game I’ve ever seen. At $149 it certainly isn’t cheap, but the detail is so beautiful. I don’t know if I could let my kids touch it though! ;)

Not sure if this is right for your child? Then treat yourself! I have my eye on some hedgehog on a sled cocktail napkins;)

Blabla knits

Knitted toys with old fashioned charm but using modern designs… I’m going to be a fan of that. And Blabla confirmed it. Designed by Florence Wetterwald and knitted by Peruvian artisans, Blabla toys are made from the finest fibres making them irresitisbly soft and perfect for your little one to snuggle up to. The mix of old and new makes a beautiful toy that will not become dated; the type of toy a child will keep when all the others get passed on. As they put it on their site…

“Florence’s poetic, simple and vibrant style combined with the ancestral knowledge of the knitters has created products which look contemporary, yet feel like old friends.”

Here are some of the friends your little one could become acquainted with…

I want the panda hat for myself. I have a small head so it may just fit! :)
