Field Candy : camping in awesome tents!

I imagine/hope/pray that the sun may finally make an appearance for longer than a day and with it, if you’re anything like me, you may fancy a a spot of camping! Hopefully your kids will be excited about a tent adventure but if they need a little persuading, or if you just want to look way cooler than every other camper, you should totally check out Field Candy.

You see, they don’t do boring tents at Field Candy, instead each one is a work of art, and often a limited edition one at that! The company works with many different designers and the result is many different tents and many different styles…

Awesome right?!

I’m sure the children would be way more excited by a Field Candy tent than a single colour tent! And if you happen to be looking for a tent for just you and your partner then definitely get yourself over to the
website as there are lots more to see.

Happy camping!

Nursery art & illustration : Teagan White

I’m a big fan of woodland creatures, camping and the like. I think they go perfectly with childhood; perhaps because so much of my own was spent outdoors and in a tent! When it comes to finding the perfect piece of nursery art, woodland-related illustration always draws me in. These pieces by Teagan White are especially beautiful, and with their muted tones I can just imagine them being a calming focal point of a baby’s room.

Other than art…

Not only does Teagan offer art prints and canvases of her work, but also iPhone cases, laptop skins and even clothing. So if you’re a little in love with Teagan’s work yourself there are plenty of treats for you too.

Basically, you should head over to Teagan’s Society 6 shop for a spot of beautiful browsing :)

Felt fires

Children amaze me with how they can make something out of nothing, they have the most incredible imaginations. Whilst they don’t need toys to play I still love those that encourage improvisation and role play whilst simultaneously looking so bloomin’ adorable! And the work of Rebecca Neafus is the type of stuff I’m talking about. She makes beautiful felt toys that would have your kids concocting a camping trip or playing at pirates. And yep they’re not needed but oh how they will be loved!

I’m even tempted to buy a log fire set myself so I can play at camping whilst my tent is packed away over the winter :)
