Wee Society’s DIY dress-up

It’s that time of year again… Time to start thinking about Halloween costumes! Woo hoo! There are so many fabulous ideas out there. We featured a great round-up last year for those families that like to be coordinated, but today I have a brilliant diy costume idea – paper bag costumes from wee society.

Don’t they just look so cute! And there are great step-by-step instructions which are free to download, so you can’t go wrong! Check them out at wee society.

While you’re there you should definitely take the time to check out the coolest about us page ever! And also make sure you take pictures of your little ones in their costumes and share them with wee society before the 31st October for a chance to win a Wee Alphas art print!

The Miniature Knit Shop

A big thank you has to go to my mate Michelle for tweeting me about this stupidly sweet knitwear! A love of knitting and fancy dress has led The Miniature Knit Shop to produce the cutest, coziest looking knitwear for your little ones to don and look adorable!

There are the accessories, such as hats and feet to turn your children into chickens or an owl if you prefer, as well as wooly guns for your miniature cowboy…

Or you could go all out and buy one of these delightful costumes… so sweet! And I believe if you have two children it’s important to put one in a cowboy costume and dress one as a Red Indian right?!

Last, but definitely not least, there are these sleeping bags that are so much better than your average sleeping bag, even when the shark appears to be eating your child!

And there’s even more on the website. I love it all!

Bat’s Juice & Witch’s Spells

As it’s ‘Halloween week’ on Belle Bébés I wanted to bring you a fab Halloween party bursting with sweet and scary ideas! Maureen and Adria of Anders Ruff created the incredible party I picked to present to you. I love it’s subtle colour scheme with a just-enough pop of orange. The vintage furniture and typewriter really add to the spooky effect and the treats are just amazing: bat’s juice, chocolate skeleton keys, ghouls, owls and bat’s hanging from up high are just a few of the delightful desserts. The mini mummy and witch are just so cute too!

Such amazing details and there’s much more to see too, just head over to Kara’s Party Ideas
for tons more pictures. And if you like this so much you want to create something similar then you’re in luck! The printables for this party can be bought from the Anders Ruff shop right here!

I’ll leave you with just a few more blog’s to visit for more Halloween goodness…
