The cutest tutus from Angel’s Face

Never before have I posted about a company on both of my blogs simultaneously, but Angel’s Face is a company that fits the two perfectly.

Their stupidly gorgeous pettiskirt tutus and dresses would look lovely on any little girl, and therefore they’re right at home on the pages of Belle Bébés.

The fact that they’re also rather fancy makes them an ideal attire idea for a mini bridesmaid, and so they need a mention on Belle Amour too!

Angel’s Face kindly sent me a dress to review and my reaction is testament to how beautiful they are: I almost cried! Now, I’m not a girly-girl and imagine I’m a few years away from having children but pulling that dress out of the cute hat box it arrived in is probably the first time I’ve actually imagined a little girl in my future… twirling around in that dress. How can a few ruffles do that?!

Maybe it’s the ol’ biological clock ticking and the package from Angel’s Face was just well timed. Or maybe they just make insanely adorable attire! I’m going to go with the latter ;)

Here are a few pics I snapped of the pretty Peaches & Cream dress they sent (I got a little carried away taking pictures of those ruffles!)…

Angel’s Face tutus come in a range of colours and they also sell shoes and hair accessories to match. If you’re looking for a flowergirl outfit or something special for your daughter to wear I’d start here.

Oh, and they do some in adult sizes too, in case you want one yourself!

Pinafore Pattern

Ever wanted to make your little girl a dress but scared you don’t have the sewing skills? I think this pinafore pattern may be a good tutorial for your first try. It’s a simple design with great instructions, lots of photos and a PDF pattern for you to download…

Awesome images: Smashed Peas and Carrots

The only tricky bit for beginners could be the button; if you’re worried about making a button hole just skip that bit… there’s always velcro you can stitch on instead :)

Olive’s Friend Pop

If you have a little girl and love vintage then you have to check out Olive’s Friend Pop! Their creations are inspired by proper little-girls’ clothes of their grandmothers’ generation… post WWII, when little girls didn’t want to dress like boys and were quite comfortable and cute in frills. Simply put these clothes are beautiful…

Olive's-Friend-Pop

While the range is mostly aimed towards girls there are a few pieces for your little lad which are also adorable!

Olive's-Friend-Pop

I think Olive’s Friend Pop should consider making all their clothes in bigger sizes. I would seriously shop there! :)
