Past & present / Before & after

I love creative ways to document your child’s arrival in the world. And my mates, Brendyn & Sachi, posted two such ideas to Facebook that I just had to steal and share! (Don’t worry, I asked first!)

The first is of the past and present, with Brendyn & Sachi imitating a fantastic shot of Brendyn’s parents back in 1976, when they were pregnant with Brendyn…

And the second is an awesome before and after shot with Sachi’s baby bump turning into little baby boy Ren! Awwwww…

Cute Care Bears Hoodie

Do you remember the Care Bears? As an eighties child, it was a classic cartoon of my time. I had Care Bears toys, and even the sticker album! So when I saw this adorable hooded top over on Paspel Poezen I loved it…

And I think this would make for quite a simple, inexpensive DIY project. You could buy a plain hooded top, from a shop such as H&M or Primark, and then attach some felt ears and felt shapes to the tummy.

The difficult part is choosing which Care Bear you want your little one to be!
