Easter party inspiration

Spring is here! It’s official! I have daffodils (ok they’re in my kitchen, but it counts!), there are lambs in the fields and this morning was one of the loveliest I’ve seen in a while. So it’s time to start thinking about Easter; egg hunts and parties! There are some great ideas out there to make your parties beautiful – here are some of my favourites:

  1. Egg salad carrots from Hungry Happenings
  2. Pinwheels from Style Me Pretty
  3. Easter egg hunt ribbon from Design Mom
  4. Vintage Easter treat boxes from Fancy Flours
  5. Daffodil party favours from Being Tazim
  6. Mini rabbit biscuits from MadeWithButter on Etsy
  7. Chocolate nests from Amy’s Party Ideas
  8. Paint chip Easter egg garland from The Sweetest Occasion
  9. Paper flower wreath from Hello Lucky

Party inspiration: Autumn baby shower

Lots of my friends are pregnant at the moment – it makes me very jealous! It’s such a wonderful experience. So many new things to discover, so much excitement and unknown joy to be claimed. It got me thinking about baby showers and that’s what led to this inspiration post. We posted an Autumn leaves nursery inspiration board last year. This time I’m using those gorgeous colours to inspire a baby shower setting. I hope you like it!

  1. Little pumpkin bundt cake from Fancy Flours
  2. Felt leaf garland from Yesterday on Tuesday
  3. Party table found on Pinterest
  4. Autumn wreath from A Beautiful Mess
  5. Mommy wish tree from Stephanie J Designs via Kara’s Party Ideas
  6. Floating apple candles from Dreamy Whites
  7. Invitation by Tiny Prints
  8. Mason jars from Hostess with the Mostess
  9. Homemade chutney favours by Polka Dot Bride

Are there any other themes you would like us to gather some inspiration for? Please let us know, we do love a challenge! :)

Lila’s room

Lovely lady and fab photographer Vicki Knights passed on the amazing find in today’s post! Lila’s lovely room is perfect for a little lady. The colour palette is sophisticated enough to last into her teens; but the details and colour pink pretties it up enough to ensure it’s not too ‘old’. And if you’ve seen my wedding blog you’ll already know it’s a palette I’m very fond of :)

There are so many gorgeous details in this room: the ribbons (wow!), the ruffle pom poms, the frames and the dressing-up box complete with mirror for Lila to admire herself in…

Stunning right?! More details of this amazing room can be found on Lila’s mum Andrea’s blog right here.
