The T family : Greenwich, London

Greenwich-based photographer Andrea Whelan sent us today’s lovely shoot of the T family.

She decided, rather than capture them in their home, that their wonderful hometown of Greenwich would be an ideal setting for a shoot. Andrea told me she wanted “to show people how we can use the local area as a GREAT backdrop to their family portraits”.

She definitely succeeded!

Bears & babies: photography idea

Pinterest revealed to me that some mothers don’t believe they need to dress their children up in little bear outfits… that they’re cute enough and dressing them as bears is silly. Nothing wrong with that of course, but personally I couldn’t disagree more!

Don’t get me wrong, I fully agree babies are cute enough not to need little bear hats. I just also think they look bloomin’ adorable in said bear hats, and don’t think I could resist making any future baby of mine into a baby bear for an hour or two!

It’s because of pictures like this…

Parisian maternity shoot

I have a truly gorgeous Parisian maternity shoot to share with you today courtesy of Brian Wright of French Grey Photography.

“Katarina is from Japan, and Nicholas is from France, and together they very excited to be expecting a baby boy soon!
They decided to celebrate this unique moment in their lives by having some beautiful photographs taken in their favourite Parisian garden, before their new life begins - as three!
Choosing a quiet Saturday in early summer at the enchanting Jardin du Luxembourg, they spent the afternoon relaxing and sharing some tender moments in Paris.”

I love how these pictures almost look like they could be in a studio, kind of like a picture book, whilst still being so obviously natural. What an exciting time for those two! I’m jealous! :) Good luck to Katarina and Nicholas and thank you so much to Brian for sharing this beautiful shoot!
