Wee Society’s DIY dress-up

It’s that time of year again… Time to start thinking about Halloween costumes! Woo hoo! There are so many fabulous ideas out there. We featured a great round-up last year for those families that like to be coordinated, but today I have a brilliant diy costume idea – paper bag costumes from wee society.

Don’t they just look so cute! And there are great step-by-step instructions which are free to download, so you can’t go wrong! Check them out at wee society.

While you’re there you should definitely take the time to check out the coolest about us page ever! And also make sure you take pictures of your little ones in their costumes and share them with wee society before the 31st October for a chance to win a Wee Alphas art print!

DIY Wings

When I was a child (and sometimes a little bit now) I honestly believed I could fly. I knew that if I just practised, and ran, and flapped, hard enough, l would take off one day. If my mother had made me a set of these babies, I think I would have easily mastered it a bit earlier!

This gorgeous set of wings, that any willing fledgling would give their left leg for, was made by Llevo el Invierno. Simple but beautiful and adaptable to suit any colour, size or shape preference, there isn’t a child that you couldn’t make a set of these for.

Check out the full tutorial, and others, on Llevo el Invierno.
