Isobel & George : natural family portraits by Jo Hone

Isabel & George’s godfather commissioned Jo Hone for today’s featured shoot. He wanted some natural portraits of the kids, a relaxed portrait for the family, and a few photos of him thrown in for good measure.

Jo met godfather Rob, his best friend Tom and Tom’s daughter Isobel in a coffee shop where she snapped a few adorable shots (love the wellies!), before heading (or in Isobel’s case, running!) home to meet up with Liz & George. After Isobel & George had a play fight with Rob they went onto a country pub for lunch and then enjoyed the countryside.

All the while Jo snapped away and the result is some fantastic photos that don’t seem at all forced. Here’s a day in the life of Isobel & George…

Summer Photoshoot - Natalie Leech

Natalie Leech is a natural light photographer based in Glossop, Derbyshire. She submitted this gorgeous Summer photoshoot, captured at golden hour, with 2 very lovely little girls!

“Here are sisters Sophie & Chloe, aged 7 and 2, on my parents farm - Highbank farm in Glossop, Derbyshire, where I do most of my outdoor shoots. We waited for golden hour and luckily Sophie & Chloe’s mum was keen for us to have the perfect light for the shoot. She wanted some natural and artistic pictures of her girls and I had the idea of using the balloons. I had the idea of Chloe letting the pink balloon go for some time so when we finally got a sunny few days we decided to go for it and it was beautiful. Almost too good to be in the uk” :)
