When Adam grows up…

When babies arrive, they do so with a world of possibilities in front of them.

As all parents want the best for their children perhaps there’s a certain career path they dream their child will follow when they grow up.

But, as often is the case, little ones choose their own path as they grow, which could be a world away from the path their parents imagined they’d take.

Photographer
Oxana Mazur has created a fantastic shoot of baby Adam around his parents hobbies and the future careers he could have because of them, but there’s an adorable twist at the end!

I love the vintage styling of these photos and the polaroid frames too. It’s a very different shoot from what we normally see and I love the creativity behind it. Thanks to Oxana for sharing it :)

Landscape dinner set for children from Doiy

If you’re looking for a dinner set for children, you’ll find that there are lots of Disney characters, animal faces and tv show characters to choose from, but not many original ideas. Except for this great example from Doiy which isn’t just cute, it’s educational too!

Doiy don’t just make cool kids’ mealtime accessories either, they have a whole host of awesome gadgets for you to check out, like the weapon-shaped pillow fight cushions, or this tea party set that looks like a milk bottle and these bicycle pizza cutters!

“DOIY is design. Design to share, to smile, to surprise and, above all, design for all”

Dig & Mig : vintage-inspired decor and toys

Dig & Mig, Danish for “you and me”, is a fantastic, vintage-inspired company founded in 2009 by Danish designer Marianne Norup.

With a background in fashion and two children of her own, Marianne is well equipped to know just what children will love when it comes to designing decor & lifestyle items for them.

I spotted the above lamp on Pinterest, and instantly had to see where it came from as I loved how the illustrations reminded me of books from my childhood.

Over at Dig & Mig I was happy to find the lamp comes as a DIY kit - I love when parents can really get involved in creating a bedroom space for their child.

Bold and bright

Even better than that discovery though, was the wealth of other awesome accessories and decor details that would brighten up any space!

If you love colour and bold fabric prints make sure you see what else is on offer over at Dig & Mig
