Nursery wall

My lovely friend Thea told me about her friend Lisa, the artist, who I’m featuring today. Lisa created this beautiful hand-cut butterfly installation for a lucky little girl called Aziza…

An installation like this is such a fantastic alternative to patterned wallpaper and could be any colour you choose.

You can see more photos of this project and other projects Lisa has worked on over on her website. I think the ‘Come Up To My Room’ piece is my favourite…

…although I doubt this would work as well in a child’s room; I can just imagine them spending a lot of time seeing if they could jump high enough to grab the flowers :D

Halloween: Zombie-infested family picnic!

Photographer Kelsey Otto takes photos of her sister’s family every year. But this year she wanted to do a family shoot with a difference, and with Halloween right around the corner I just had to share it with you!

Awesome image credit: KC Photography via Babble

A zombie-infested shoot is such an awesome idea! And easy to recreate too… just get some clothes you don’t mind messing up, a ton of fake blood and book your favourite photographer :)
