Belle Bebes Fab finds for your beautiful baby.

Today I have some recipes for fruity summertime treats, that beat the multi-coloured, ‘fruit’-flavoured, sugar-packed, store offerings hands down! These are great for a quick cooling snack on a hot day in the garden, or to offer as a dessert at a party. And yes, the intention is that they are for the kids but should one happen to fall into your mouth… well, what are you supposed to do?! :)

Strawberry shortcake popsicles (below left) from Bakers Royale
Pureed strawberries sandwiched between a mixture of vanilla (Golden) Oreos and vanilla yogurt – Mmm mmm mmm!

Firecracker Ice Pops (below right) from Martha Stewart
Strawberries, blueberries and natural yogurt in a red, white and blue swirl (if only I’d seen these in time for Alice’s party…!)

Fruit Kabobs (below left) from Pioneer Party Very simple but very cute heart-shaped fruit (I guess you could use a selection) with yogurt dip.

Fruity frozen yogurt pops (below right) from Honey
Fruit, yogurt, honey and vanilla blended and layered makes up these pretty pops!

Peach and yogurt purée coated in raspberry coulis – my mouth is actually watering now!

Lovely aren’t they? So easy to make too and you could make this into a holiday activity by getting the kids involved (also a good way to get them to eat healthily without them realising!) and why not get them to make up their own recipes?! You don’t need purpose made moulds either, just your everyday juice glasses will work fine. Enjoy!
