Handmade toys by MonAmiBear

These gorgeous handmade toys are the creations of Jeanne Pan’kova of Russia, and can be found for sale in her Livemaster shop MonAmiBear . I find myself totally drawn to these teddies’ unusual, and actually quite human, expressions. I can’t decide whether some of them are sad or maybe confused, but I want to take them home with me to try to find out! I think they’re all absolutely adorable!

handmade toys teddies

What do you think about teddies with sad expressions? They’re normally quite blank aren’t they! I love that these are so much more life-like in their faces, whilst remaining toy-like in all other aspects. That makes them all the more compelling!

There are even more gorgeous handmade toys to see over in Jeanne’s shop. Go feast your eyes!

Big headed bears

These bears aren’t big headed in an up-themselves horrible way. They’re big headed in a way that makes them look so sweet I could cry! Made by Aintzi in Spain their facial expressions give me the impression they need a cuddle, and whilst your teeniest children may be too small to do so (small parts and all) they’d be lovely for older children or to sit on a shelf in the nursery. Priced at around £15- £20, these bears are a bargain especially considering they’re handmade. Just look at them and tell me you aren’t tempted…

Oh so adorable! I love the little scarves and dresses they’re sporting. And I love those that are posed with teeny toys; buy some dolls house miniatures and you could easily recreate these sweet scenes!

Little Scruffs

When I saw these Little Scruffs, I just HAD to share them with you! Little Scruffs are miniature bears, handmade in Worcestershire, UK. They are mostly around 3½ – 4 inches tall and are made from mohair, vintage upholstery velvet and alpaca AND are “coochicoo” adorable!

There are so many different bears in so many different styles, each with its own little scruffy personality! But here is my favourite – Fred. You can even style his llama fur hair!

I think I love him! :)
