Halloween: unusual creative costumes

Today is the first in a few Halloween posts we have lined up for you! I love any excuse to get creative and when I have children know I’ll get stupidly excited putting together a costume for them every October. I also know I’m the type to want to do something a little bit different than the usual pumpkins, witches and black cats. So, if you’re a bit like me and are looking for a Halloween fancy dress outfit that’s a little bit unusual, here’s a round-up of ideas for you…

Awesome images:

  1. Hot air balloon via Rook No. 17
  2. Strong boy via Skirt As Top
  3. Sushi via Lil Sugar
  4. Mary Poppins trio via Make It and Love It
  5. Bowie via This Isn’t Happiness
  6. The Goblin King via Everything is Better with Peanut Butter
  7. Oompa Loompa via People
  8. Green army man via Wild Ink Press
  9. Alice via Misha Lulu
  10. Cruella de Vil via Costume Works
  11. Jellyfish via One Good Thing by Jillee
  12. Carl from Up via My Modern Met
  13. Edward Scissorhands via Instructables

I’ve already decided that I’m definitely making my future son dress up as The Goblin King from Labyrinth :D
