Yarn bombing, yarnbombing, graffiti knitting or yarnstorming is a type of graffiti or street art that employs colourful displays of knitted or crocheted cloth rather than paint or chalk.
Coolest bit of yarn bombing I’ve seen recently is this amazing feat of knitted engineering in North Yorkshire, by the “Saltburn Yarnbomber”, especially for the Olympics, found via The Telegraph.
How incredible is that?! So I’m sorry this post isn’t strictly related to children, but I figured mums would love this! That’s about as good a link as I have I’m afraid! Look out for more Olympic related posts over the coming weeks. Oh and happy weekend everyone! :)
