Chocolate bowls = yum!

I absolutely love the idea of chocolate bowls for your desserts and I’m sure your little ones will too! Angie aka Bakerella tried and tested this pudding bowl recipe from the book Sticky, Chewy, Messy, Gooey Treats for Kids. By using balloons dipped in chocolate you’re left with amazing bowls that you can fill with any cold dessert of your choice! It needs to be cold because a hot dessert is just going to create a big mess when the bowl melts!

For the whole step-by-step process head over to the tutorial on the Bakerella blog. There’s also an idea for a dessert in the form of peanut butter pudding, mmmm.

These definitely take a little more prep than just reaching for a bowl out of the cupboard but I’m sure kids would love making them with you and they’d be especially great for parties or special occasions. Brilliantly, there’s no washing up after you’ve eaten dessert because that bowl is definitely getting eaten too!
